This ascent is in the West Castle region of the southern Rockies. We went up Nugara's route. A very pleasant little scramble. Two rockbands to get through were hard enough to add interest, but easy enough to get the dog up. The best part - snow free until the walk to the summit from the western plateau. The entire ascent gully didn't have any snow at all!
