First view of the steeper section of Anklebiter Ridge.

With a terrible weather forecast for the weekend, I decided the only way to guarantee Becky and I could get a scramble in, was to head out on Thursday evening after work. I left work an hour early, picked up Becky at the carpool, and we were hiking by 5:25pm.

The trail leading up Anklebiter Ridge starts only a ~150 meters along the Grotto Canyon trail, from the Grotto Pond parking lot.
