Spirit Mountain (the one just left of center, which is clearly the highest) from the approach road up to Christmas Tree Pass.

This was hike three of my second southern road trip. If there is a granite peak in my general area, I am sure to want to climb it. So despite the fact I had to drive a significant distance south from Red Rocks, and that there were plenty of good sandstone options there, I chose to climb Spirit Mountain. It is listed as one of the more enjoyable mountains to climb in Nevada somewhere (I forget where).
