The next morning Mount Gass was.... in the cloud. We woke early due to 2/3 forecasts saying it would rain and thunderstorm possibly starting at noon. 1/3 said it would clear more in the afternoon.

This weekend did two peaks in the High Rockies Range accessed from the Elkford area. Second was Gass. We had been near Gass a few years back when we did Mount Lyall and Beehive. We already knew of this route (alternative for Albertans, but probably far more often ascended in some form than the other), but Cornelius published it the year previous too.
