Morning views from camp. When I realized it was this time I quickly hurried off to Swiftcurrent Lake before going to the trail head.

Yellow Mountain was completely dry, and I was running out of things which were dry. It was a super long day though. So I reached out to Sam Gockel and he agreed to join me. Which worked out really well, as this was far too long a day to complete solo for me. Our paces, and tolerances seemed compatible and we communicated about route choices well. Its been a long time since I scrambled with someone completely new alone (without another of my friends there), so I'm extra happy this worked out well.
