Solo. Weather forecast was iffy, but it settled into probably no rain till 6pm today in the front ranges. Though possibly thunderstorms starting just after noon.
I figured it was time to do Romulus or Fullerton since I hadn't done either. But I settled on Romulus because it was farther back and therefore more running training for my upcoming race.
I wasn't particularly fussed if I didn't get excellent views, because as Kane notes its "a bit drab" in the front ranges with the "absence of glaciers and craggy summits" with "muted shades of grey, brown and dark green predominating".
I woke up at 5am and headed out. Ran the road. 12km in 1h50min. Crossed a small creek, took a wrong turn, bushwacked, found the actual Little Elbow, crossed that and found the trail finally. This is still from the road.
