First view along the ridge of the summit. Took Matt's route as it more scenic, and I'll have to trudge down that road to get Monad eventually anyway.


With the forecast calling for very strong wind and the divide clouded over, I wasn't too into doing a long ridge walk or something else more exciting. So I decided to head out to the foothills and go up this peak.

Turned into a slightly harder day than anticipated. Heath fell down early on and hurt his wrist / neck. Then I fell down, and nearly broke my tail bone. We also couldn't go the "easy" way and had to scramble up some loose rock.
Still a nice day out in the hills.
