Starting out on the descending trail to Howse River Flats from Mistaya Canyon. There were precisely 22 trees down on this section - despite it being the "maintained section".

The weather Friday night and Monday during the day excluded a 3 day trip to tag the pass and explore another areas. So we just went as we could in a day and had a relaxing evening. We saw 99% of the views to the pass anyway. By going at this time of year we also avoided a lot of the deadfall by crossing the river multiple times.
