I tried to parked 1km away from the Island Lake PRA to obey the closure, but sadly couldn't quite make it due to the road condition. Since the road was very snowy / slushy. Since I was walking in the other direction from the PRA, not into it, I wasn't breaking the intention of the closure. Don't know if anyone would care though?

After walking along most of the road to the south side of Island Ridge, I finally started up. This is after the first ~150m of snowy, icy bushwacking. Now things look nice!
