Mount Fox from the meadows at Elk Pass. Taiga Viewpoint is the hill/ridge to the left below the peak.
I asked Heath what he wanted to do for his hiking day. He said a lake, so I picked this dramatic lake we both hadn't been to. We also managed to get up the sidehilly, mud scramble up Taiga Viewpoint.
