Windy Point from the road. You have to hike ~4km each way to reach the ascent slopes from the winter gate when its closed.

I'd seen that the ascent slopes leading up to Windy Point were nice and dry, from Channel Ridge the day before. So despite initially not intending to get out all 3 days of the weekend, I set off once again into the Sheep area.

Windy Point makes a nice winter ascent when its dry, though do be careful on the super steep slopes! Gleason Ridge on the other hand... is just too long and too snowy. Its also very much uphill both ways.
