This was plan B, when Plan A had too many hunters. Turned out much better than Plan A would have. We drove to the Wedge Mountain parking area then continued along the forestry road past the camp. Stopped when the road took a steep turn as it was super icy, and continued on foot.

We got the idea for this foothill from Dave McMurry. If you've already done Ma Butte and Wedge Mountain it makes another good outing in the area during shoulder season.
