With frozen temperatures after some warmer weather the snowpack should have been bomber. The avalanche danger was rated as low/low/low. Therefore I finally got around to completing this steep but very scenic ridge.

As you can see here, there are parts of this ascent which are crazy steep for snowshoeing. We barely had any snowshoe penetration though, and made crazy good time going up. Going down, we just had to trust the crampons on the snowshoes to do their job. Since the snow hadn't softened.
