After tramping up the slippery, boring, endless Healy Pass trail I got up here and remembered exactly why I was out here after all. Got to love that view.
A long solo day during which I hiked from sunrise to sunset (and a bit beyond). 12h, 33.6km and 1765m. Which (along with a bash to my knee) is apparently a bit too much for me, because the next day I was sure feeling it!
A lovely day of larches, open lakes, and snowy peaks (which did look nice in their fresh snow).
