Josée called me on Saturday and invited me on this trip. I had my doubts I could make it up this peak. I haven't done that many difficult scrambles. But the hard section was short at least, and I hadn't seen her in forever so I agreed.

I'm very glad I came along, and not only because I got to see her again. But also because I made it up! Thanks to both Josee's and Fabrice's patience, and Fabrice's direction at various points, I got both up and down with minimal fear. It was all things considered, not that bad really. Almost fun. I've done things that scared me much worse. That is how much of a difference it makes by having the right partners!
