After Mount Sabine, we drove all the way up to the top landing on Skookumchuck Fire Lookout Road. We passed several downed trees that had been removed from the road. Then we got to the landing and a family was leaving after completing the hike. They had just cut down the trees on their way up that day. Thanks to them (some luck at last)!
