Hiking up the trail. 2 hours of very steep hiking on trail before anything fun happens.

Took the day off work to scramble since the weekend looks like rain.

Mount Cory was steep at the begining, then had good easy scrambling, but finally defeated me with a cornice.

At least it defeated me to go from the 'lower(?)' south summit to the north summit. Kane says they are the same height, so I'm still claiming this ascent. Some people say the north is 2 meters higher. Either way I didn't want to become a statistic by doing something stupid. So though I spent ~15 minutes staring at the offending snow, I stayed on the south summit.
