Mount Taylor from where you park.

There is basically no approach, you cross the creek on the train bridge (watch out for trains) and walk a short distance to the base of those ridges.

We ascended the left ridge after going up the gully for a short distance, following the route Dave McMurray attempted originally (he later ascended it in the fall via the middle ridge). We had debated which ridge to use, but I'm glad we went with the one Dave used in the winter as the other one he used in the fall looked far more dangerous to snowshoe.
