Crossing the creek the first time. Of 5 times each way (4 on the initial trail and 1 when you leave it). This is in the washout area of Whitegoat Creek trail.

After a recent trip report showed this to be an easy scree bash with a long approach on easy trail, it seemed like the perfect objective for after the storm. Especially as our group came from all over the place, and David Thompson area is the most logical center point of Calgary, Edmonton, and Golden. The weather looked like it wouldn't rain and wouldn't be completely cloudy so off we went. After camping the night before we headed out early. The conditions were great. The snow possibly made it easier, than scree bashing. It sure felt like it did!
