After hiking up the approach and ski trails the first bit of bushwacking was easy. Then we got to this cut block and the steep slope up to the rockbands you traverse under. This was bad.

The weather during the week was some of the best we've had all summer. With winter around the corner, it could not be missed. So I took a half day at work and with Cody Nelson went up the Turret. Even though we took the longer approach route on the trail, we still managed to avoid hiking more than the wide ski trail in the dark.
