After driving half way up then hiking the rest of the road to Mount Baker Fire Lookout, we drove back down. Then drove over to Plumbob. We had intended to do this on Monday, the next day. However as we drove it opened up and we could see the summit wasn't in a cloud. With a bad weather forecast for Monday and plenty of time left in the afternoon we started up. One of the longest logging road driving days I've done. I did more distance on my way to Mount Fosthall, but most of that wasn't as steep.
This is looking back at the vehicles from the point where I got sick of driving up the steep road. You have to walk some of it, or you can't count the summit.
