I thought I was so smart turning off, but turns out I didn't do my research and the main trail goes to Tuff Puff. Although not mentioned on the trail head sign, the Kinglet Lake trail head is also for Tuff Puff and the route splits a ways up the ridge at an official signpost.

This was my second summit of a solo weekend. I had meant to scramble, but ended up just hiking due to lack of motivation to push through fear. It was only half way up I realized I "wasted" a perfectly good "work mother" hike by doing it solo. That is IF I could convince her to drive this far. Still, now its not even an option to try to convince her, due to my absolute lack of desire to repeat things.
