Observation Sub-Peak as seen from the Icefields Parkway. As you can see the upper ridges were very windswept.
This trip was with Raff, Andrea, and Andrew Nugara! A ski ascent were I barely skied thanks to windswept slopes. More like a hiking in ski boots ascent. It was a fantastic day with excellent views and great company. Actually skiing back down through the trees was pretty bad, but lets forget that. The views were so much better than I got on real Observation Peak, and after only one hour in the trees they were constant!
