This was hike three of eight of my third southern road trip. This time I went to Arizona. This hike is east of Phoenix.

This is a super popular hike, but for good reason. After seeing some pictures of the scrambling I was sold. It turned out even better than I thought. It was just a long easy continuous scramble. Not too much plain hiking, and no "bushwacking" (which in the desert is cactus dodging).
