I am super lucky that I have such a flexible schedule at work (currently). Since it is slow I could easily switch days with my reviewer, so I worked last (rainy) Sunday instead of Wednesday. Therefore I could get out and do a scramble on a nice day! In my first (real) year of scrambling I tried this peak, but we got scared off by rain and thunder. So why not try on another day with that in the forecast? This time it worked out great. Although it got cloudy around 1pm it did not rain and cleared up again later. Only to start raining about 5 minutes after we got in the car! So lucky. Just because it was a weekday doesn't mean I was solo again (thankfully). Carlo joined me on this splendidly scenic slog... I mean lovely scramble.
