We managed to catch sunrise from Butcher Lake, on our way to the trail head for Drywood Mountain. It was very beautiful. This photo is of Mount Victoria. This is on my normal automatic mode.

We had headed south to avoid the rain forecasted for most of the province. It worked perfectly because we only got a few drops on the western summit, the rest of the day was nice. It even cleared up in the afternoon for us. We started out super early, waking up at 5:30am, to avoid the deteriorating forecasted weather in the afternoon. This worked out really well. Especially on what became a 9.5h day.
