After starting in the dark, this is heading into Wolverine Valley.
I've wanted to go back and get Lipalian Mountain since only getting up Purple Mound two winters ago. You cannot ascend this from above the Larch Chair anymore, according to the ski patrol. Therefore the main problems are the distance involved, and finding someone with avy training to go with you. I'd also been checking out conditions for soloing up this like last time, but the only day that would have worked out I wasn't in the mood and went to Sunshine Meadows and up Quartz Peak instead. So it was great to finally finish this one off, even if most of the trip was through an area I'd already been to.
