There was this very nice campsite along the road next to the river. This was before the final turn off up Bugaboo-South FSR.

Very civilized. We only read in the late afternoon, and ate dinner here though. For fear of mice and porcupines. The mice because I've had that problem before, and Matt said the campsite just ~500m farther back had them. Which makes sense. The Bugaboo Lodge is just ~500m uphill from here. Of course there are mice then. Seems obvious when I think about it, but I could have been fooled too. The porcupines because there was chicken wire here....

The cutblock you park at for the trailhead had amazing views. It made a much better camp to actually sleep at. At least if you are sleeping in your vehicle.
