Looking down and across at Sparwood Ridge after the steepest part.

In June of 2015 I did the approach (up the "wrong" ridge - the more westerly one - too at that) to attempt this peak with Heath and Keara. We didn't make it due to snow on the ridge to the false summit... and well having a dog attached to us.

5 years later, and I was ready to suffer up the ("correct" - more easterly one) approach ridge to finally get the reward of of completing the peak and doing the open ridges at the end. It would have been better if it was less windy, but at least it was sunny!
