After biking for several kilometers (the last one of which was very rocky) we get to this view of the col we must ascend. Also visible is quite a lot of Blackface Mountains "black face", but probably not the summit. Here the trail crosses the river twice in quick succession and continues up the valley.

A two day ascent with a bivy in the remote Deception Creek Valley.
A lot of physical and mental exertion (described in the photos) went into gaining this summit.
It was totally worth it for this remote and interesting peak with awesome views.
