Cascade Amphitheater, the summit of Cascade Mountain behind, and one larch.

Another tourist route due to its popularity. It is still a moderate scramble though. This is one of the first mountains (or perhaps the very first) I remember noticing as a kid. It is quite impressive from the road, starting around the park gates all the way to the first turn off to Banff. I finally got up it, with Heath, and avoided the larch crowds. Although we only saw five larches ourselves, and the approach trail was dull. It is good to have completed this mountain.
