This was with the CSMC. We started early as this is a long hike. Initially you must go through/around the golf course until you can pick up the trail along the creek.

At first the creek valley is quite narrow and we mistakenly ended up on a trail on climbers left. It was difficult to follow though and eventually we got onto the correct trail on climbers right. This was easy to follow until the valley opened up and you get onto rocky flats. After that section you get to a steep treed hill before the upper bowl. The trail is to climbers right of the trees on the edge.
