Sunrise along the Livingstone Range from the highway.

Again I was following someone up a peak. This time it was Matt's trip report. Livingstone Range South Peak looked nice and dry, easy enough to do solo, and it wasn't a foothill. I was sold when I saw the weather for Sunday. Crowsnest Pass was the only area it wasn't going to rain/snow before mid afternoon. After a failed attempt at skiing up Crystal Ridge (how do you ski rain crust covered in 3 inches of slurpee?), I needed something to succeed on.
