Day 1 - Red Rocks Parkway to Font Creek Campground

I'd wanted to do this peak, but wasted some time before getting to this point, and then couldn't do it and get to camp at a reasonable time.

This was a trip I'd plotted out 2-3 years previous. Conditions hadn't worked out those years, and this became one of those things that you think about for so long you just have to do when presented the chance. Even if it isn't the right time for you mentally. I'd needed a relaxing backpack after several weekends of peakbagging, and before Sinister 7. Instead, things lined up and I did this trip.
