Pharoah Peaks

I'd wanted to hike this trail since I first heard of it, but the reports kept me away. I also wanted to do it as a point to point, but the cable cars were usually in disrepair and the rest of the trail in poor maintenance as well. And of course its hard to find someone to shuttle or swap keys with you. When some friends of mine went, I decided suddenly not to wait anymore.

The trail supposedly had some work done 4 years ago, but you cannot tell (good article though).

The trail report (link will probably break) stated that "The trail up the south Toby drainage is intermittent and orute finding skills are required." Also that "Wind-felled trees will be encountered." Which is a vast understatement.
