Roche Bonhomme from the road to Maligne Lake

Solo. Yes I drove all the way to Jasper. I wanted a dry mountain. Driving there I noticed it wasn't that bad past a certain point in Banff, but by then I'd typically become fixated on my objective and stubbornly enjoyed my long long drive up anyway. It's really dry up on the Icefields for this time of year. This mountain is very easy and boasted a trail the whole way to the top! It was my little vacation from bushwacking (aka tick collecting) since I've been doing a lot of that lately. It was also nice and dry, only a little snow on the summit ridge. It was great. I'm now ready to do a harder ascent next time once again.
